Pinki and Kajal are improving English speaking skills

Pinki and Kajal live in a slum as neighbours and are being provided support through Dana Foundation. Both the girls help their parents in daily chores and look after their siblings besides finding time to complete their studies. Living in a poor neighbourhood only added onto their struggles as they had to spend considerable time in fetching water from the only source of water far from home. They were walking 3 kms one way to school, spending a lot of time in their commute.

These girls came highly recommended by their teachers to the Dana Foundation. Our team quickly reviewed their situation and not only sponsored their educational expenses but also provided them two bicycles; cutting down their commute. This provided them extra time to take Math tuition and English-speaking classes after school, also sponsored by Dana Foundation through your generous donations.
